A few words from an Irish student who participated in CHANGE:
We watched a documentary about a boy named Filimon. He came from a country where there was a war and had to leave by himself. He did not have any contact with his family, and after month he had the chance to take a phone call with them. This made me think about how if I was to move out of my country and home all by myself, I would have to be independent and take care of myself, not knowing that I might never see my family again. Filimon was also around my age, so if I was to put that into perspective, we would have the same knowledge and skills. We would also have to find a job in order to get some money and food for ourselves.
